Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
02 - 12 oz sirloin or ribeye steak
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
05 - 2 tbsp honey
06 - 1 tsp red pepper flakes
07 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped
08 - 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Directions:

01 - In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Sear each side for 4-5 minutes until nicely browned.
03 - Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add minced garlic and honey to the skillet; stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.
04 - Pour in the soy sauce and red pepper flakes, and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
05 - Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the steak and sauce mixture. Toss well to coat evenly.
06 - Garnish with chopped parsley or basil before serving.
