Maple Chicken Bacon Sliders (Print Version)

Sweet maple-glazed chicken with crispy bacon stacked on soft slider buns for a flavorful snack or meal.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1/4 cup maple syrup
03 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 6 slices bacon
06 - 6 slider buns
07 - 1 cup arugula
08 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
02 - Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
03 - In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
04 - Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.
05 - Brush the chicken with the maple syrup mixture and transfer to the oven. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
06 - While the chicken is baking, cook the bacon in the skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
07 - Slice the chicken into thin pieces.
08 - Assemble the sliders by placing arugula on the bottom bun, followed by a slice of chicken and a slice of bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.
09 - Serve immediately and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the maple syrup mixture.
02 - You can use honey instead of maple syrup if preferred.
03 - These sliders can be made ahead and reheated in the oven for a quick meal.
