# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb skirt steak
02 - 2 tbsp olive oil
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 tbsp lime juice
05 - 1 tsp ground cumin
06 - 1 tsp chili powder
07 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ For the Tacos

08 - 8 small corn or flour tortillas
09 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
10 - 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
11 - Salsa, optional
12 - Lime wedges for serving

# Directions:

01 - In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this marinade onto both sides of the skirt steak. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight for best results).
02 - Preheat a grill or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
03 - Slice the skirt steak against the grain into thin strips. This helps ensure that the steak remains tender and flavorful.
04 - Warm the tortillas either on the grill, in a skillet, or in the microwave. Once warmed, fill each tortilla with a few slices of steak, topped with chopped onions, cilantro, and your choice of salsa. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
05 - Serve the tacos immediately, allowing everyone to squeeze fresh lime juice over them for an extra burst of flavor.
