# Ingredients:

→ For the Bread

01 - 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
02 - 2/3 cup (130g) granulated sugar
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
06 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
09 - 1 cup (120g) peeled and diced apples (Granny Smith or favorite variety)

→ For the Cinnamon Swirl

10 - 1/3 cup (70g) brown sugar
11 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Directions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
02 - In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Fold in the diced apples gently.
04 - Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon layer and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon swirl mixture on top. Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
06 - Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve!

# Notes:

01 - For extra sweetness, drizzle the cooled bread with a simple glaze made of powdered sugar and milk.
02 - Use a mix of tart and sweet apples for a balanced flavor.
03 - Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
