Beef smokies tucked in flaky crescent dough; golden and perfect for gatherings or snacks.

01 - 12 oz package beef Lit'L Smokies
02 - 10 oz can crescent roll dough

# Directions:

01 - Open the tin of refrigerated crescent rolls and unroll the dough on a cutting board.
02 - Slice each dough triangle into 3 triangles.
03 - Roll one dough piece around each cocktail sausage.
04 - Place the pigs in a blanket on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan.
05 - Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
06 - Whisk one egg and one tablespoon of cold water in a small bowl. Apply with a pastry brush before baking.

# Notes:

01 - Applying an egg wash before baking adds a wonderful shine with a golden-brown finish. It also helps to adhere toppings such as poppy or sesame seeds, or herbs.
