Hobo Casserole Ground Beef (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 medium onion, chopped
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
06 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Directions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes), then drain excess fat.
03 - Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion softens.
04 - Layer thinly sliced potatoes over the beef mixture in the baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
05 - Top with shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Pour beef broth around the edges to keep potatoes moist.
06 - Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
